I first knew Harvey Birdman as an attorney before I knew him as a superhero. That’s always how I want to think of him, with his briefcase thrust righteously forward. Almost two decades after Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law‘s premiere, the character is returning to a television landscape now dominated by dark prestige dramas, sad-coms, and morally complicated animated comedies. And as excellent as the current state of TV is, I’m just happy to have something irredeemably silly to enjoy.
