Spies turned drug dealers turned private investigators, Archer follows the exciting and raunchy lives of superspy Sterling Archer, his condescending mother Mallory, his on-again off-again girlfriend Lana and a slew of other wildly unqualified co-workers as they thwart terrorist plots, investigate high level crime, and generally piss each other off. Archer centers around the antics of sly suprrspy Sterling Archer and a CIA-esque team of covert ops agents as they fight crime... to the best of their limited abilities. Over the years, the team has gone from being independent to joining the CIA to selling a literal ton of cocain to becoming a detective agency. No matter their status, the team does what it can to that criminals, get paid, and tear each other down emotionally.
