With millions of hours of anime streamed in North America this past year alone, Hulu has entered a new, multiyear deal with Funimation to expand the premium streaming service’s anime library granting Hulu first-look exclusivity rights to stream any future offerings from the anime studio.
Starting next year, certain newly subtitled anime series will be available to stream directly through Funimation and Hulu on the same day of their native Japanese premiere.
